Thiết kế này tạo ra cho chuông hiệu quả, hiệu suất và độ tin cậy cao với mức tiêu thụ điện năng thấp. Chuông được thiết kế gồm một động cơ nhỏ với các biến trở để giảm thiểu tối đa nhiễu RFI và EMI về vi điều khiển của trung tâm báo cháy. Chuông báo động FBM01U-D được thiết kế với vỏ 6 inches và sơn đỏ để dễ nhận biết và tăng độ bền khi sử dụng. Chuông báo động FBM01U-D sử dụng điện áp 24V DC.
